New found annoyance... 3-ply toilet paper.
It's amazing the amount of paper products used over here... napkins are needed everywhere, restaraunts and shops may not readily provide them and BYO in case the public stalls don't have it either.
But in cases where you do have it the stuff is so thick and fluffy it's a pain. I've seen 4-ply and 3-ply is the most common.
So the problems with 3-ply? too thick to be necessary, doesn't tear off the roll readily. doesn't tear cleanly, you get 2 sheets fine and the third is torn to shreds which you then have to deal with.
Don't get a good pull in? the roll, well, rolls and you get 3 feet to deal with.
4-ply... you take 2 sheets off and use as 2-ply... 3-ply doesn't work since you end up with a straggling useless single play sheet all tattered on the edges.
